The Educated Babysitter is a quality babysitting experience that provides educators to babysit and/or tutor in your home on evenings, weekends, holidays and summer! I started this service due to the overwhelming need for quality childcare in the DC/MD/VA area. I have 20 years of childcare experience which includes 13 years as a classroom teacher, a BA in Education and two Masters Degrees in Education as well. Children are an important part of my life, and it is my pleasure to bring quality childcare to your home. If you are in need of a 'break' or a 'date night' or just some time for yourself to run errands, go to the gym, go shopping, or just a hand around the house with the baby, let me know! We will be there to the rescue! We do not have weekday hours right now because myself as well as my sitters are working professionals. However, we will have some daytime flexibility in the summer! I look forward to hearing from you!Other services that we offer are light cooking, light housekeeping, mother's helper services, academic reinforcement, Gymboree class (we can take your child if you are enrolled), field trips, walks, park trips, grocery shopping, errands and group babysitting. Future features of the service include: website, paypal, travel nanny service, music lessons, foreign language and overnight service. Feel free to inquire about any up and coming services!
